The Girlfriend Factor was conceived over two very cold glasses of beer on a very hot summer day in Palm Desert, CA in the summer of 2005. JOAN BUSICK and Michele Moore, long time friends and business associates, decided to start a non-profit organization to ensure that higher education and occupational training are financially accessible to all adult women who choose to improve their economic position and strive for self-sufficiency.

Roxanne, Diana, Patty, Anna, Lucilla, Karen, Donna and all the other women who are Go Girl! Grant recipients are real women with real dreams and goals.
