Thu, 9 October 2008 You don't have to be Bette Midler to know that wives are the 'wing beneath the wings' of soldier and military men (and husbands of women in the Armed Forces). They often have the challenge of keeping the family going in the absence of their parent and in dealing with the stress of worry, moving to new places and more.I've wondered how military wives utilize their girlfriends in these situations so I asked one. TAMMY MUNSON is an Army wife/mom, military blogger, WAHM and social media manager. She keeps busy but not too busy to stay in touch with other Household6 women. (Household6 is the military term for a wife of a military man.) She combines this love of her military lifestyle with her social media skills by blogging about Household6 and ParentZone. And, she even took time out of her busy schedule to talk with Girlfriendology about how she and her girlfriends support each other through deployment, moves and whatever life holds for them. Thanks Tammy for being our military girlfriend and for sharing your insight and inspiration with us!
